 The
Pousada was fully renovated in 2004 and is housed in a 16th century
historic fort. The hotel is well located on the harbour front of
Horta and an easy walk to the ferry terminal. The rooms are modern
and spacious with TV, telephone, hair dryer and safe. Sea view rooms
have a balcony many with a view across to Pico. Breakfast is a
buffet with hot dishes and dinner is served at the table featuring
many local specialities. There is an outdoor swimming pool open in
summer.
