Types of Walking Holidays available with New Experience
Walking holidays with total flexibility
All of our walking holidays are individually put together to meet the wishes of our clients. We are happy to arrange holidays of any duration to as many places as you wish travelling on the day and time and from the airport of your choice. We will provide an individual quotation on request. If you wish to arrange your own travel, that’s fine with us. For your convenience, we publish our prices both with and without flights.
Hotel philosophy
Your hotel is a very important part of your walking holiday; somewhere to
enjoy staying and eating in rather than to endure between days of walking.
We have chosen hotels in the 2 to 4 star categories for our centered
holidays that meet our criteria and wherever possible have offered a choice
in each centre. Where ‘needs must’ on our treks some hotels may be of a
lower official grading, but they still meet our standards. We have stayed in
every hotel we feature and visit them regularly to check on the facilities,
comfort, friendliness and food. We ensure that the hotel is family owned
wherever possible and look for enthusiasm, professionalism, a high
standard of customer care and one that will give a friendly elcome to all
of our clients. Many hoteliers have now become friends.
Hotel to Hotel Trek Walking HolidaysIf you want to be on the move and gain a great sense of achievement why not take one of our hotel to hotel treks. We provide maps and comprehensive walking notes as well as transport your baggage on to your next hotel. We offer a choice of routes at different levels of difficulty. |

Single or Multi-Centred Walking HolidaysOur self guided holidays you choose exactly when, where and for how long you wish to go. We provide you with our own booklet with an extensive choice of walks for your specific destination. Each walk has been chosen by one of our team and has been walked recently. We give full directional notes as well as details of public transport or car accessibility. We also give a grading, average walking time, and extent of ascents and descents. We also point out things of interest along the way. Routes vary from easy half day walks to 8 hour walks involving 5000 feet ascents. Even if you wish to walk every day you will still have plenty to choose from to suit your needs. The booklet is in an easy to use format and you can detach and take with you the page you need. It also offers details of interesting things to do if you wish to have a non-walking day. What we believe to be the best walking map for the area is provided in support of the booklet |
