Higher Graded Hotels
Ksar Anika - Marrakech

Stepping through the doorway into Ksar Anika, leaving the bustle of the street behind, you are greeted with the cool, plush interior of one of Marrakech’s most charming Riads. Rooms are set around a courtyard of palms and pool and provide a further restful respite from the excitement of the city. Breakfast and dinner can be taken in the courtyard or on the rooftop which offers a wonderful vista of the city and mountains beyond. In addition there is a bar with open fire for cooler times, a TV room and a superb Hama am spa.

Dar Imlil - Imlil

In a lovely setting overlooking the village of Imlil, which is just a 5 minute walk away. There is a beautiful terrace where you can sit with a mint tea after a walk or have breakfast with views over the village and straight down the Imlil valley, or up to high mountains surrounding the village that are probably snow clad. The 10 rooms all with a private balcony are divided into three categories depending on room size and views. Each room has either a bath or shower. And you can try a traditional ‘djellaba’ or Kaftan which is in every room. Dinner will be taken on the terrace or in the dining room.

Domaine Malika - Ouirgane

A modern building in traditional style, surrounded by pine trees and olive groves, with the peaks of the High Atlas mountains as a backdrop. Run by a French born mother and son combination they bring the European efficiency to this tranquil valley but still maintain a pace in keeping with the local culture. There are 7 modern rooms in three categories dependant on size combining European elegance with Moroccan charm. All rooms have a bath and separate toilet, the larger rooms have direct access to a terrace. There is a large swimming pool in the landscaped gardens. Meals are either taken outside if the weather permits or in the small restaurant - maybe with a fire if a cold evening. Vegetables from the garden, fruit from the orchard and local products from the nearby souks are used to make creative dishes.

Kasbah Bab - Ourika

Situated in the countryside and constructed from local materials, this Riad set in its own gardens offers wonderful views of the Atlas Mountains. In the garden is a swimming pool and terrace. Each of the 15 rooms is individually decorated in Moroccan style, all with a private bathroom. Standard rooms have a shower, with larger rooms a bath and also feature a private terrace and a seating area in front of the fireplace. Breakfast is buffet, taken inside or by the pool. Dinner is served in the restaurant and features Berber, Arabic and international dishes.
